Settin 'em Up & Knockin 'em Down

That's right. While I'll shed no tears over the murder of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, he wouldn't have been such a powerful turd without our help and he's served his purpose. Does his death really change anything in Iraq? No, but it gives the neocons something to crow about. We have our own religious fanatics and they would gladly saw some of our heads off given the chance. Let's make sure they never get that chance.

Good as well to see DeLay go too. I only wish it was Cheney & Bush.
If I'm not as active here at the moment it's bacause I'm in the throes of production on the new Blue Collar Review.

1000 pounds of high explosive dropped from the sky and it still took strapping him to a stretcher for a few moments under close scrutiny for him to finally kick off.

they knew where this guy was for two years. I'm glad the military finally made the call to get this sick head chopping motherfucker, an end I'd wish on any murdering egomaniac (hint...), but I wonder if their bosses at the pentagon/DOD wanted Z. to come to such an end. it eliminates their A.Q./Iraq connection for the most part, it destroys a perfectly good boogeyman, and they (neos) understand that it won't change a thing about the violence, because that was never the problem with the violence; it is a civil war and there are some of J. Neg's infamous death squads running around blowing folks away.

let's hope it makes more folks here stand up and say, okay we got him. bring the troops home/send em after yer buddy o.b.l...say, where is that guy anyway??

"you know, I just don't spend that much time on it..." GWB...

looking forward to the new BCR. thanks for all your hard work.

Chris, you are right on most accounts but Zarchawi had already been replaced as "head of al qeda in Iraq" several months ago. Maybe that's why he was more expendable and lets face it, the neos need a victory to point at with everything going bad for them.

This will not draw attention away from our own death squad activity and atrocities or the need to end this debacle and bring our misleaders to justice.
